The Hyperrealist Paintings of Jason DeGraaf

There must come a point where talent, hard work and patience stops and simple Witchcraft takes over. The above photo painting was summoned created by Canadian artist Jason DeGraaf and it almost defies explanation.

He practices a style called Hyperrealism which, aside from sounding like a Phillip K. Dick novel, requires hours of painstaking work using nothing but acrylic and a canvas.

Heliocentric: Acrylic on canvas 40in x 30in

Stunning. Head to DeGraaf’s website to get a look at all his works.
